# 3.2. Building Infrastructure for the AI Era

Its long-term goal is to become an **AI infrastructure layer**.

Over the next decade, the global economy will be driven by three core infrastructure layers:

* AI compute infrastructure
* Financial infrastructure
* Value transfer infrastructure

AIFinBotX is building a system that brings all three together.

***

### Why does AI need new infrastructure?

AI development faces three key bottlenecks today:

#### 1. Compute is centralized

GPU and compute resources are concentrated in a few major technology companies. This makes participation difficult for individuals and smaller businesses.

#### 2. Financial tools are too complex

Traditional financial tools have high barriers. Everyday users cannot easily use AI for asset management and risk control.

#### 3. Use cases remain fragmented

AI, finance, and payment systems still operate separately. There is no unified ecosystem that connects them to the real world.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://trading-labs.gitbook.io/aifinbotx/aifinbotx-whitepaper-en/what-problems-does-the-market-face/3.2.-building-infrastructure-for-the-ai-era.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
